Eric Christian Zimmer: A Creative Journey
Born in 1993 on Long Island, Eric Christian Zimmer grew up passionate about art and animation, especially Disney films. In 2015, he participated in the Disney College Program, further fueling his love for storytelling. After graduating from Hofstra University, he worked in theater before returning to school at Nassau Community College, where he discovered his talent for writing.
Inspired by superhero stories, he crafted The Mighty Dozen—a 1981-set thriller following two detectives and their closest friends who gain powers from a mysterious meteor. Published in February 2025, the novel marks his debut as an author, with hopes of expanding it into a series and releasing an illustrated edition. Zimmer continues to blend nostalgia, adventure, and heroism in his work.
